The Ukraine Prediction. Hint Russia Will Lose In The End

The Ukraine Prediction is just that, it is my take on the war and its outcome. This posting is short and to the point. And it is purely speculative. I also dedicate this post to Eugene Laka, a son of Ukraine.

The Ukraine Prediction

  • Ukraine will become Russia’s next Afghanistan.
  • Russia will find itself bogged down in guerrilla warfare. Ukrainians have nothing but time on their side. Russia, however, will have to sustain an army far from its homeland, which will further strain its economy.
  • Any government put in place by Putin will suffer constant attacks.
  • World condemnation of Russia will weaken its resolve and hurt its economy.
  • Dissension against Putin will rise beyond previous levels, and even his aides will doubt him.
  • In the end, Russia will lose Ukraine, Crimea, and the territories held by separatists.
    • No doubt, it will take time, but not as much as one would think.
  • Oh, and more nations will join NATO thanks to Putin’s actions.

Amended Prediction 5.2.22

I stick to my prediction that Ukraine will defeat Russia, but it will be costly. Putin intends to double down and force Ukraine to agree to conditions that it should reject.
Instead, with the help of NATO, Ukraine needs to make Russia bleed for every inch of soil.
Sanctions must remain in place.
Putin and the Russian army are charged with war crimes.

As for the threat of nuclear war, targeting everything Putin and his oligarchs own with conventional missiles should be a reason for pause on their parts. Not to mention; that we more than have the ability to level those same assets with a nuclear strike of our own.

There is one last thing. Ukraine needs to retake all territory taken by Russia. Yes, I mean Crimea. This action will show Poland and Belarus that Russia can be defeated.
In short, Russia loses; it is just a matter of time.
