Let’s look at the situation. And put you in the hot seat.
You have the power to shut down the government or keep it going.
It’s go-time. And you must decide now. Stand with your party and shut it down. Or go against the party. And keep the government running. Knowing full well this is what Trump and the Republicans want.
Decide now. But here is the catch.
Trump wins no matter what you do.
What? You did not know that? Don’t tell me. You thought this would be a fair contest. Here’s the breakdown.
Win-Win
If you shut down the government.
The people who got back their jobs have no jobs to return to.
Therefore, he does not have to comply with the court order.
This is a win for Trump. One of many that the shutdown will allow.
Win-Win Again
If you keep the government running.
Trump and his sleaze sidekick continue to work to shut down the government.
Make no mistake. That is the endgame here.
It is not to reduce government but to shut it down.
But with the government still in operation. You can still fight Trump’s moves.
Shut down the government, and he wins.
No more fights in court.
You have done the work for him.
But if you keep the government running it’s still a win for Trump. But it’s not a blowout. And we can turn it into a loss.
For Trump, that is.
And that first loss is the return of fired workers to their jobs.

Schumer doubled down on the assertion he made on the Senate floor ahead of Friday’s closely watched vote: The Republican funding bill, called a continuing resolution or CR, was bad, but a government shutdown would have been worse.
He said it would have given the Trump administration the freedom to slash programs it views as nonessential, with little to no recourse for Democrats to pursue. Programs like Medicaid and SNAP or funding for mass transit could have been indiscriminately slashed, he said.
“You have two choices: one bad, the other devastating,” Schumer said. “One chops off one of your fingers, the other chops off your arm.”

I was upset with the Schumer decision until I stepped back and looked at the big picture.
And I remembered that the endgame is to remove the government so Trump can proclaim himself King.
The Election Fail And More
Face it. The time to prevent this scenario was during the election. Now it is too late.
We must find ways to stop the bleeding.
By stopping the criticism and armchair quarterbacking.
Or should I say? It is not by the Democrats doing what they have always done while the Republicans look and laugh.

The pro-Democratic organization called for him to step down from his leadership position on Saturday over what it saw as his unwillingness to resist President Donald Trump. Schumer enraged Democrats across the party on Friday by voting for a GOP bill to prevent a government shutdown.
Charlotte Clymer, a Democratic operative associated with the moderate wing of the party who launched a petition to boycott donations to Senate Democrats until they force Schumer out as minority leader, said her petition is now up to 25,000 signatures. She said of Schumer’s postponing book tour events that he “doesn’t want to face the music over his caving to Trump and Elon Musk.”
It’s Time To Stop Talking Out Loud
I get that people are upset.
But this level of discord only emboldens your enemy. I am amazed that so-called intelligent people do not know the bone they are giving Trump and Musk. If you want to win this thing, you will stop talking about replacing people in public.
Instead, sit down and figure out your next move. Because Trump, Musk, and the Republican party have one, and it’s coming soon.
Time For A New Plan
Actually, I am being kind. The time for a new plan was during Trump’s first run for president. He came into the game with a new playbook. One that did not care what the rules of the game were.
Learn The Lesson
Then, in his second term, he upped the ante. And he is all in.
Meanwhile, the democrats and their followers are fighting amongst themselves. That too is part of his playbook.
It is past time to change the Democratic playbook. And get back in the game.
- Rule 1. You do not handle family business in public. In public, you are united. Behind closed doors is where you discuss differences.
- Rule 2. When dealing with Trump and the rest of his gang. Take no prisoners.
- Trump and the Republicans are not to be trusted.
- And at one time or another, they have lied to you and stabbed you repeatedly in the back.
- Rule 3. Learn the Lesson.
Okay, now that we have that out of the way. Let us get back to stopping a wanna-be dictator.
By the way. I am not a Democrat or Republican. I am an independent thinker and voter. And from the outside, I can say this about the Democratic machine. Unless you change your tactics you are going to lose big time.
