Vote America 2020 Not Trump

Why You Should Vote For Trump and The Republicans? Why Indeed.

Contents show

Hello and welcome to Why You Should Vote For Trump and the Republicans. This article is not for staunch Trump supporters. Your mind is made up. Trump can do no wrong including shooting someone you love. No, my friend, this is for the undecided.

The following is a shortlist of reasons for you to vote for Trump and his party. But in the interest of full disclosure and clarity, I included arguments against such a move. And because you are a person that wants verification. When possible and necessary I have included links to articles from varied sources. These articles state the facts on the reason listed.

Reasons To Vote For Trump

1. Unemployment Checks

You don’t mind losing the $600.00 added to your unemployment check. You can pay your bills without it. And forget the next stimulus check you don’t need that either.

2. Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)

You’re okay with the fact that the administration gave millions to companies that didn’t need it. While mom-and-pop stores got less. That’s if they got anything at all. How many stores have closed in your area?

Excerpt: Mom-and-pop shops struggled to obtain PPP money, but Kanye West, Grover Norquist’s anti-spending group, and a number of Trump allies didn’t seem to have any trouble obtaining taxpayer funds.

Excerpt: It turns out, the White House may have had good reason to want to keep the data under wraps. While much of the nearly $660 billion went to the small businesses it was designed to help prop up, a sizable slice of the pie went to large corporations, organizations with connections to political elites, and—predictably—companies linked to Donald Trump and his associates and allies.

3. Patriotism

The bounty paid by Russia for dead American soldiers is okay with you. And you believe Trump is a patriot even though his parents paid a doctor to lie so he could avoid the draft.

Let’s not forget the lack of action on the bounty on Americans by the Russians. Oh, now there is the talk of a pardon for the traitor John Snowden. And why not, Snowden is with Trump’s puppet master Vladimir Putin. But to you, that means he’s a patriot.

4. Trump Is Strong On The Military

Vets shake his hand. Others praise him for his stance on the military. But what is the real deal here?

Didn’t Trump threaten to disown Don Jr. if he joined the military? And didn’t “the Donald’s” parents engineer his deferment from the military while others signed up?

Source: Mary Trump’s Book, Too Much and Never Enough.

Then there’s the insult of calling the military dead and serving losers and suckers. Why would such a patriotic person do these things?

Source: Any newspaper

And let’s not forget that he called Senator McCain–a military hero–a loser.

So, here’s my question for you. Would you go through a door with Trump as your backup? Now that would be a sucker move. So is a vote for Trump.

5. Covid-19

No Mask For You

You believe that the coronavirus is a hoax and that the 200,000-plus deaths are not real. Wearing a mask is for suckers. You’re no sucker. You let people talk to you who don’t wear a mask. Then go home to your friends and loved ones with no worries that you may be infecting them.

Also No Testing For You

You and your loved ones don’t need to be tested even though the person you follow is the most tested in the country. Oh, and this includes his family… but not yours. And because your life is not as important as his; Trump has persuaded the CDC to tell you not to get tested. Why? Because testing shows the virus is still running rampant. It also shows that Trump and his cohorts lied about how well a job they are doing in fighting the virus.

Source Trump asked for fewer Covid-19 tests. Now the CDC is recommending less testing.

Now the Trump administration is taking a step that would, in effect, slow down testing.

Trump Moved Quickly To Stop The Virus

Trump’s stopping flights from China slowed the virus. That is partially true.

When Trump finally listened to science and stopped flights from China to the West Coast, the influx of people with the virus slowed. But it was too late. The virus had already taken hold in California. California has yet to recover from this blunder.

The East Coast Virus Is Not From China

It only takes one person to infect many. As was seen in the outbreak in New York, which is on the East Coast. Trump and his band of screwups delayed banning flights from Europe. Let’s look at this:

  1. Europe is on the East Coast
  2. China is on the West Coast
  3. Banning flights from China and not Europe left a back door for the virus to invade America.
  4. The strain of the virus from Europe is a different strain than the one from China.
  5. This showed that the virus had already mutated.

All this means that Trump acted too late to stop the infection on the West Coast and the East Coast. How many did you lose? No one yet, there’s still time. Don’t worry, a vote for Trump will continue the devastation by the virus. You may lose someone yet.

https://www.usnews.com/news/us/articles/2020-04-24/coronavirus-came-to-new-york-from-europe-not-china-governor

(Reuters) – New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on Friday pointed to research showing that strains of the novel coronavirus entered his state from Europe, not China, and said that travel bans enacted by U.S. President Donald Trump were too late to halt its spread.

Nothing Could Have Stopped The Virus

Not true. Trump had time to close our borders before the virus arrived. But his lack of acceptance of the virus slowed his action. And his “playing down” of the virus led to false perceptions and delays. As we approach a new benchmark of deaths we see the continued effects of Trump’s inactions. Your vote for Trump will guarantee more of the same.

https://news.cgtn.com/news/2020-09-14/As-Trump-plays-down-virus-health-experts-alarm-grows-TLTbPB5QPe/index.html

Excerpt: Trump himself told Woodward on March 19 that he had deliberately minimized the danger. “I wanted to always play it down,” the president said. “I still like playing it down because I don’t want to create a panic.”

Critics have long noted how Trump’s public comments failed to sync up with those of public health officials, contributing to confusion among Americans.

As Trump left for India on February 23, he told reporters that the virus was “very much under control” and that the small number of infected people in the U.S. were “very well confined.”

6. Early Warning Not Needed

Trump’s interference in the group set up by Obama to deal with a pandemic weakened our response. Plenty could have been done to prevent loss of life by Covid-19. The problem now is that nothing is being done to stop the loss of life by Donald Trump’s continued mishandling of the pandemic.

7. Loyalty

Trump’s loyalty is a one-way street. Kiss the ring, do as he says and you will be rewarded. If this is you then you will vote for Trump. But consider his record.

Trump will throw anyone under the bus to protect his butt. And that person has to accept it. Should that person fight to protect themselves Trump will disavow them. In fact, he will go so far as to try to destroy their life.

Let me lay this out for you. A good leader is loyal to his team. This loyalty breeds respect. Respect breeds loyalty. Not threats of retaliation or betrayal.

This concept is foreign to Trump. What about you?

8. The Election

Mail-In Voting

Defunding the mail so that fewer votes are cast shows several weaknesses in the Trump campaign.

  1. Trump knows he could not win in a fair contest.
  2. He has no sustainable platform to run on.
  3. Trump needs the Republican party to engage in voter suppression.
    1. Which by the way shows that the Republican party is weak and desperate also.

Consider this, someone who believes he will win because he has a platform that people will vote for doesn’t need voter suppression to win.

Russia is not helping Trump, but wait.

Trump says he’s tough on Russia. And Russia does not want him in office. This is what you believe. Is that correct?

Then why help someone you don’t want in office? Wouldn’t you help his opponent? Meaning wouldn’t Russia help Biden and not Trump? Now and in 2016.

If Russia is afraid of Trump then why are they helping him? Trump asked for Russia’s help in 2016 and got it. In 2020, Giuliani is looking for “information” that he hopes will be used against Biden. Trump has said he will accept help from foreign sources in an election. Russia is one of those sources. These are things you would do to help Trump get in office, not kick him out.

Logic dictates that Russia wants Trump in office, not Biden.

Excerpt: In August, a senior FBI official told reporters on a conference call that both Russia and China are trying to disrupt the U.S. election.

Earlier this week, the Department of Homeland Security found that Russia is spreading disinformation regarding former Vice President Joe Biden’s mental health, according to a DHS bulletin obtained by ABC News.

Russian actors are spreading “unsubstantiated allegations” that former Biden is of “ill-health,” the DHS bulletin said, and speculated that “this narrative will resonate with some American voters and reduce their confidence in him as a candidate.”

Again, if Russia does not want Trump in the White House, why are they once again helping him? No one helps an enemy to win unless it is in their best interest.

9. Health Insurance

Health insurance for you is no issue. Your health insurance is as good as Trump’s. No medical emergency will wipe out your life savings. Not even the coronavirus. Because it’s a hoax, right?

10. End Social Security

You earned it but you’re willing to give it up for The Donald. Keep in mind that he will keep all his benefits, not that he needs them. And while you struggle he will live large looking down on your suffering, struggling life. Another reason to vote for Trump. Way to go.

Excerpt 1: Donald Trump qualifies for a sizable monthly Social Security benefit

President Trump is the perfect example of an individual who would benefit handsomely from Social Security today. Although to be clear, since he didn’t release his tax returns, it’s uncertain if he’s receiving a Social Security benefit, even though he qualifies for one.

Whereas the average retired worker takes home $1,414.73 a month, President Trump could be netting more than double this amount — or maybe well over triple, inclusive of a bonus we’ll get to in a moment — as a result of his hefty annual earnings throughout his lifetime.

Excerpt 2: Trump also qualifies for a rarely used Social Security bonus

However, he also qualifies for a little-known bonus that went to just 1.1% of all Social Security beneficiaries (673,000) during the month of July: benefits for children.

Still okay with having your benefits messed with?

11. Immigration

Trump’s immigration policy is right on target. Even if it stops someone you know from immigrating to this country. You agree that immigrants should not be able to sponsor other immigrants. But isn’t that exactly what Melania Trump did for her parents? See The EB-1 Visa, Melania, And The Immigration Visa Process

12. Outright Lies

Your vote for Trump shows you have a large tolerance for half-truths, exaggerations, and outright lies.

To date, Donald Trump has told twenty thousand (20,000) lies and counting. Now think, who would you allow to lie to you these many times and get away with it? And there are the items that he said during the Republican convention. How many of those were incorrect?

13. You’re A Golfer

This is a fun category. You’re a golfer so you vote for Trump. Or you’re not a golfer and think Trump golfs less than Obama did. Let’s deep dive into this one.

There are sources out there that track how many times Trump plays golf. So there is no guesswork except when it comes to computing how much more golf he will play in the future.

In my opinion, if Trump wants to play golf so much let’s help him out. Don’t vote for Trump. Vote him out so he will have more time to play.

The answer is yes. Trump has played 2.6 times more golf than Obama in his first 2 years and 91 days and has cost the taxpayer an estimated $74 million more than Obama.

Excerpt 2: Who has played more golf, Trump or Obama?

As of now, the answer is clear, President Trump has spent more time on the golf course and by a wide margin. Trump has been at the golf course 170 times in his first 821 days as president. Obama was at the course 65 times over the same period of time. Below is a graph measuring the cumulative presidential golfing count by number of days in office:

The cost breakdown is around $88 million for Florida-based golf trips, $9.0 million for New Jersey trips, and $8 million for other golfing trips in Scottland, Japan, and other locations. Costs include estimated travel costs as well as government and security costs.

And What About The Secret Service Cost

Cost of Secret Service

The cost of Trump’s golf rounds to the American taxpayer varies by round and course, but it has totaled so far in the tens of millions of dollars. The Secret Service has spent at least $550,000 in third-party golf cart rentals and over $500,000 to stay overnight at Trump-owned properties, including his New Jersey country club.

14: To Russia With Love

This is more to the Republican party than to Trump. But not by much since Trump chose to get in bed with the Russians long ago.

Republicans go to Russia on the 4th of July.  Okay, so that’s not too bad. After all, they were on their vacation break. But Putin monitors everyone. And it’s not because he is worried about you taking the towels from the hotel. No, it’s to gain leverage whenever possible.

So, if you’re a guest of the Kremlin you need to be careful. That aside nothing good came from this visit. Not long after Trump eased restrictions on known oligarchs. These are people that Trump believes work exclusively for Putin.

Excerpt 2: Duma member Vyacheslav Nikonov said on Tuesday that he’s met with many American lawmakers before, but this week’s meeting “was one of the easiest ones in my life ”

If the Republicans who were in Moscow consider this a compliment, they’re badly missing the point.

Trump lifts sanctions on firms linked to Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska

Earlier this month, Senate Republicans blocked an effort to keep the sanctions on Rusal, En+ Group, and JSC EuroSibEnergo.

Some lawmakers from both parties have said it is inappropriate to ease sanctions on companies tied to Deripaska, an ally of Russian president Vladimir Putin, while special counsel Robert Mueller investigates whether Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign colluded with Moscow.

Note: The lifting of sanctions on Russian oligarchs led to Oleg Deripaska to set up an aluminum plant in Kentucky. This is the same Deripaska tied to Paul Manafort in the Mueller Investigation. And the same Kentucky that Mitch McConnell represents. Way to go Comrade!

15: Additional Reasons to Vote For Trump

If this set of reasons were not enough for you click here to read more of them. This is a shorter list without as many links to articles.

As I said, this is a shortlist. Every day, Trump gives you more reasons to vote for Trump. So does Mitch McConnell. It’s not every day that a senator sells out his state to a Russian oligarch.

Speaking of which, how is your Russian? After all, a vote for Trump is a vote for an America run by Putin.

This just in; another reason to vote for Trump.

16: Taxes Or The Lack of Them

Here’s another reason to vote for #45. He doesn’t pay taxes. Imagine that while you pay your fair share of taxes. Trump and his tax people have used various means to evade paying taxes. Unlike tax avoidance, tax evasion is a crime. But this has not been proven in court… yet.

One last thing. #45 is not smarter than you because he didn’t pay taxes. No, his tax preparers are the ones with the know-how to pull this off.

Tax evasion, I remind you, is a crime. A crime that #45 may face.
